WHAT IS A SOUL COACH?

If so, a soul coach can help you grow in the arenas of identity, vocation, and intimacy with God.
A soul coach is a guide who utilizes the tools of spiritual direction and personal coaching to help you see, hear, and do what you need to in order to become the masterpiece you were created to be.
If you are feeling stuck, lost, or discontent, soul coaching can help you discern and take the next step forward. You do not have to make this journey alone.

WHAT IS A SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR?

If so, a spiritual director can help you connect or reconnect with God in new and fuller ways.
Dating back to at least the 4th century, Christians have met with spiritual directors in order to connect more closely to the true Spiritual Director, the Holy Spirit, so that they might not only know, but experience, God.
​
A spiritual director is a companion who listens intently to your life and looks deeply into your soul to bear witness to the places where Jesus is at work and calling to you. The only "goal" in spiritual direction is to grow deeper in faith by looking for, listening for, and being in the presence of God (P.S. It's not as boring as you might think 😆).

These are listening groups
designed to help you
journey with others in
listening for God's voice.
Engage in spiritual disciplines
with like-minded souls.

They run 6 weeks on a weekly basis, with the option to renew.

Events

retreats and workshops
are offered periodically
throughout the year.

ABOUT ME
​THE BORING STUFF: I have a M.A. in Theology and Youth Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and completed the Art of Spiritual Direction joint certificate program with Sisters of St. Joseph (Orange, CA) and Loyola Marymount University.
MY STORY: I've spent much of my life trying to figure out who I was called to be and what I was called to do. I've had some fun adventures along the way (moonlighting as the UCLA college mascot and a TV extra, to name a couple).
​
But I spent most of my 20's wrestling with self-doubt, uncertainty, and loneliness,
constantly wondering, "What the heck am I supposed to do with my life?"
Guess what? I discovered these questions of identity and purpose don't disappear as you get older. I had to go through the process all over again after I became a stay at home mom and again when the kids grew up! Nobody told me I'd still be figuring out what to do with my life when I was in my 30's, 40's and beyond!
​
I spent years as a youth minister helping young people wrestle with these questions.​ Then after stay-at-home mommyhood, I serendipitously landed in the Vocation Formation Division at Fuller Seminary--helping graduate students and marketplace adults learn tools to answer these same questions in a different season of life. And as I saw their lives changed, I finally found my answer:

My calling is to change the world by helping others
change the world by living a life of purpose.
How? By helping them discover who they were created to be, what they were created to do, and the Creator who designed it all.
